The tea and coffee facilities were a nice touch! The room was comfy, but the mattress felt like the frame was poking through 😅. Breakfast could've had more fresh fruit options.

Relaxing overall experience. Incredible base for discovering Kirkconnel. Great-sized and well-appointed room with view and excellent staff. Freshly prepared options for breakfast with good tea and fish.
A bit tired room.

Cute owner, lovely views.

The stairs had poor lighting, and watch out for that curled carpet in the bedroom. It could trip up an unsuspecting soul. My TV remote didn't work until I cleaned and replaced the batteries, frustrating. There was only one bath sheet and one hand towel for two people. It's the little things that can, you know?

Rooms felt uncomfortably cold and uninviting!!! The inadequate heating led to damp bedding that ruined sleep!!! Bathroom cleanliness left much to be desired and definitely detracted from my overall experience!!!

Friendly vibes and comfy stay!
We spent 2 nights in the family room and it was super cozy! The staff was really chill and cute. The free breakfast they offered was a nice touch, but it could've had a bit more variety. Only downside? A bit of noise from the street, but nothing too crazy!

Perfect for a cozy escape
Really enjoyed the calm outside! The bed was comfortable, and the hot bath was just what I needed after a long journey. Breakfast was superb, and I highly recommend paying the extra for the hot breakfast!
It wasn't exactly cheap, but still acceptable.

missingWrote a review on 22 Maycute ownercomfortable atmospheremattress comfortstreet noisebreakfast variety
The friendly and engaging owner, showing genuine interest in conversations. The warm atmosphere was improved with the sweet snacks provided in the room. The mattress comfort could be improved, as it felt a bit worn, and the noise from the nearby street was noticeable at times. While breakfast options were decent, a bit more variety would elevate the dining experience further.
